Hilton APAC GM & Commercial Conference 2018
Celebrating the Hilton Effect
motion pitched and won the task of producing Hilton APAC’s GM & Commercial Conference 2018 for 700 of its regional leaders. The conference ran over the course of 3 days in Singapore, conducted across 4 venues – Suntec City Convention Centre, Wheeler’s Estate, Keppel Bay and Marina Bay Cruise Centre. Each venue hosted a different theme and look and feel – from Welcome Cocktails celebrating the best of Asia Pacific at spacious and colonial Wheeler’s Estate, to a rugged and outdoorsy feel for a tailored F1 teambuilding competition.
2018 was the year Hilton kicked off the beginnings of its 100th year anniversary with a campaign called The Hilton Effect. motion conceptualised and curated a Welcome Experience – The Hilton Effect Gallery – that showcased the impact and influence of the brand to its community and the industry.
As part of The Hilton Effect, sustainability was celebrated. motion thus ensured materials used were recyclable. This was impactful as we produced 24 trade booths for the workshop sessions and distributed free drinkable water in paper packaging over the course of the conference.
Audience Engagement and Interactivity was key to the conference. An App was designed and produced that gave delegates the opportunity to ask questions, send feedback, and provide real-time comments during panel discussions. Stories of the Hilton Effect was shared via QR code, linking delegates back to the App, that was constantly buzzing with social updates and uploads by delegates.
Apart from performances, motion also produced special effects that brought the conference to life. It revealed President and CEO Chris Nassetta on stage as well became moving props during presentations.
